November 26, 2023On the 11th of July 2023, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq forwarded an amendment of Kwara State Education Trust Fund law to the state House of Assembly for consideration and passage, addressing the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Salihu Danladi during the days plenary:
Governor AbdulRazaq said in the message that, the Kwara State Education Trust Fund Amendment aims for more efficient management of the trust fund created by law to streamline membership of the board of trustees and staffing of the trust fund towards achieving cost saving and enhancing efficiency.
The amendment bill was passed after its third & final passage on the 29th of August, 2023 leading to it being assented to by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on the 13th of September, 2023.
