
KWARA PUBLIC SCHOOLS UPGRADE AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE: A STEP TOWARDS EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE
April 16, 2025Kwara State Education Trust Fund (KwaraETF) in collaboration with KwaraLEARN conducted a Mock NCEE for 640 public school pupils across all LGAs.
From this exercise, 180 of the highest-performing pupils have now been selected and fully sponsored by KwaraETF to sit for National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE).
The results speak volumes:
1. Top scores as high as 179/200 from Ilorin West and Ekiti
2. A statewide average of 107 (53.5%)
3. Performance gaps across LGAs, with some as low as 26.5%

1. Abdulbaki Taofeeq = Ilorin West| 179/200
2. Abdulkareem Aliyat – Ilorin West| 176/200
3. Salomon Azeezat – Ilorin West| 169/200
4. Dorcas Oloruntofunmi – Ekiti| 167/200
And a heartfelt well done to the Top 11 pupils in each LGA – your brilliance is a beacon of Kwara’s promise. This data isn’t just diagnostic – it’s directional. It helps us target resources, shape interventions, and ensure that every child has a fair shot at quality education.
These 180 represent more than academic success – they are symbols of what’s possible when we invest early, equitably, and intentionally.
